For me, it was the best decision to book “Students Meet Africa“ for organising my internship, accommodation and language school. Because of my exams I had no time left to do it myself. Besides, it’s not easy to find a good internship and central as well as cosy shared flat that comes up to one's expectations.
Furthermore, it was also important for me that “Students Meet Africa“ only concentrates on Cape Town. Due to this they have a lot of connections to local companies plus good relationships and lots of experiences with flat owners. My internship had completely fit into my suggestions and I really enjoyed every single day. I learned a lot and I was able to collect different experiences.
“Students Meet Africa“ is definitely the organisation I would highly recommend to everyone for their internship in Cape Town. Everything worked out perfectly without any problems and there was always a contact person who I could contact if I needed any advice!

I came to Cape Town to do a English language course. A lot of the international students I met in Cape Town were doing an internship. Some of them were placed by Students Meet Africa. I decided to do an internship as well and contacted them. Even though I gave them short notice I was placed within 3 weeks. Students Meet Africa organised an interview for me. The manager of my department asked me what I want to do and discussed the areas of my involvement. I really enjoyed my internship. The company gave me a lot of exposure. I did market research, Analysis and Project Management. My company was based outside Cape Town. As usual , to begin in a new job and in a new company might be at least challenging. Especially when you coming from a different country with a different mother tongue. You keep wondering about the problems you will face. The company allowed me to come up with new ideas and thoughts as well as my point of view. In fact this is what they requested from me. Also commitment and responsibility. I only wish I could have stayed longer. I will definitely miss Cape Town and the company. But I am sure that the things I learnt there will provide me with a huge knownledge in international relations and the international business field. Students Meet Africa helped me to get to work with another intern working at the same company. We did share a car. What I liked about Students Meet Africa is that they have found me an internship according to my requirements. They contacted me regulary and we had get togethers with all the other international students.

Students Meet Africa organized me an internship in Cape Town, accommodation and a car for hire. Everything worked out perfectly. A big advantage is that Students Meet Africa concentrates on internships for Cape Town only. This was very important for me as I wanted to have a contact person in Cape Town who is familiar with the city and assist me if neccessary. With other big agencies in Europe this would not have been possible. Very nice was also the individual placement and consultation. I applied for an internship on short notice but still they have placed me very quickly. Students Meet Africa also sent me pictures of my room in Cape Town so that I had an idea how it looks like. I was picked up at the airport too, which was included in the €400 Euro I paid. It is important to know that car hire in Cape Town is very expensive. However you need a car in Cape Town. If you are looking for a individual placement with great service then contact Students Meet Africa.

Students Meet Africa offers a great service, so you can expect a pleasant stay. They were always there for me when I had questions or concerns, before my arrival and during my stay. Two days after my arrival in Cape Town Students Meet Africa introduced me to a student home with international students. Within a week I was able to make a lot of friends. The internship position met all my expectations. I worked for a NGO for six months and was involved in several projects and gained a lot of experience. My accommodation in Cape Town was also wonderful. I stayed in Sea Point in a beautiful home. Further I booked a Garden Route Tour with Students Meet Africa after I had completed my internship. It was just great. All in all I can only recommend Students Meet Africa. I wish you guys all the best.
