Responsibilities for this Public Relations Internship in Cape Town

• You will focus on web based press releases and issue press releases to both the print and Internet divisions of major and local news outlets.
• Ensure that the website is representing the company’s mission. You will participate in content-building sessions with the creative director and project lead
• You need to consume information from all sources as it relates to the company’s clients or the organizations you represent, including the mainstream trade magazines, press, web sites, discussion boards, chat rooms online newsletters and industry conferences.
• You will be exposed to and trained in the art of creating well written memos.
• You will analyze trends, reduce surprises and develop more effective communication strategies.
