About the Company

The Foundation involved, is a research organisation with registered Section 21 status at the University of Cape Town Medical School with outreach clinics in Gugulethu, Crossroads, Nyanga and Masiphumelele. With a team of over 160 community-trained field workers, nurses, doctors and researchers the Foundation is an internationally recognised leader in the prevention and treatment of HIV and related infections. The organisation also prides itself on its distance, and in house, training programmes.

Intern’s Responsibilities

The interns role will be dependant on the project needs and the interns skills and interests and the agreement reached between the intern and the  Project Leader involved.

Intern Requirements

We have numerous projects all with different requirements so we try to match project needs to applicant skills and interests.

Duration of Internship

Dependant on the availability of the applicant. Longer term intern requests are easier to place on projects.

Dates of Internship (if Applicable)

No specific dates – it is dependant on the applicants availability.
